Halden Frivilligsentral

The volunteer center is a meeting place and contact point for voluntary, voluntary associations that cooperate with each other and with the private and public sector. There is a lot to collaborate on in a local community; - public health, inclusion, culture, community development. In addition to all groups, teams and associations that gather and meet for activities, meetings and events, there are a number of volunteers who contribute as companions or with other practical help. At the volunteer center, we connect those who want to contribute with voluntary efforts and those who want to receive. Over time, both parties will give and receive. "It started with me coming to help Erik - Today I do not know who helps whom?" The driving forces in volunteer work are based on a commitment that something is important and valuable enough to spend time and energy on. It can be belonging to an environment we find community in, - working for something we believe in, making the content of life richer and it can be taking a turn in a charity work or extending a helping hand to someone who needs it.

Halden Frivilligsentral can help refugees with transport from the refugee center to the city center or activities in or around the city center.

Halden Husflidlag

Needlework, knitting, weaving, sewing and other activities for members and non-members. Halden Husflidslag is located at Svenskegata 2 in the center of Halden. We are around ninety registered members and have room for more. Welcome you shall be!

Tistedalen Friluftslag

Tistedalen Friluftslag is the local team for DNT members (The Norwegian Tourist Association) who live in Halden and Aremark. There is a great variety in different activities you can participate in.

Halden Damekor

We are a choir of close to 40 members who rehearse at Kulturhuset on Tuesdays at 19. Want to join? You are welcome!

Ladybirds

Ladybirds had its first rehearsal on April 3, 2013. The choir is led musically by conductor and pianist Silje Erichsen.
We sing everything from pop songs from the 80s onwards to classic Swedish songs.

We are an association, about 25 members, we have a meeting once a week, where we exchange experiences, social gatherings, with coffee. We hold courses when needed.

Ungdomshuset is one of the city's leisure and activity offers for young people between 13 and 19 years of age. Lisa Gustavsen

Here youth can decide for themselves about their free time. For example, you can start a film group for the production of a music video, or just relax with a cup of cocoa, hang around and play billiards, or gaming at our Xbox or Nintendo. We all meet good initiatives with positivity and enthusiasm. Here it's up to you. Opening hours: Tuesday and thursday, 14:00 to 21:30.

Rockehuset

Rockehuset The main target group is young people from 13 to 18 years who want to play in a band or are interested in music, studio technology, concerts and the surrounding environment. Here you can get involved in different organizing groups such as booking and PR group, or just stop by and have a chat. We also offer activities and courses throughout the school year.

Opening hours: Mondays and wednesdays, 17:00 - 21.00.

Verdensbro Verdensbro is a non-profit organization that offers cultural offers and events, completely free of charge, throughout the year. The goal is to create safe and good arenas with culture and creativity in focus, where children, young people and adults can unfold and have good memories and experiences together. Verdensbro is a cultural bridge builder in the local community! A cultural bridge builder is a bridge that binds people together and unites generations and cultures. Ungdomssamfundet Youth club for those between 10-20 years. A smile, a hello, a familiar face, a safe base in the right environment. We give young people a meaningful leisure time.

Den Norske Kirke

The most important basis for the Church of Norway's confession is the Bible. Central expressions of the Christian faith can also be found in the ancient ecclesiastical creeds, in the Lutheran confessions, in ecclesiastical liturgies and many other places, as in the hymns in the Norwegian Psalm Book. There are several churches from the norwegian church in Halden.

Pinsekirken Salen

Pinsekirken Salen er en levende kirke midt i Halden sentrum, med gudstjenester hver søndag hele året kl. 11.00. Vi har ungdomsklubb hver fredag kl 19.00. Barneklubb og barnekor på torsdager, søndagsskole og familiegudstjenester. Det er formiddagstreff på tirsdager en gang i måneden og ungevoksne-samlinger på søndagskvelder. Småfellesskap.

OKS Haldenkirken

OKS is a church for all people, and especially for you who do not usually go to church. The mood and atmosphere may be a little different than some people are used to from other churches. The music may be a bit louder, the expressions from the stage more modern and the music style may be unfamiliar. But the core is the same as Jesus preached - He is the Son of God, and through Him we can experience God's grace and love in life.

Halden Baptistmenighet, Tabernaklet

Here we gather for services at 11.00 Sundays. 2nd Sunday of the month there is a meeting at 18.00. Tuesdays at 18:00 there is a prayer meeting, and we have small groups every other Wednesday. The Thursday club for all children up to and including 12 years at 17.30. Here there is puppet theater, devotional singing, toys, activities and a raffle. Fridays at 20.00: Bapteens, from 8th grade and up. You can also find us on Facebook: The Tabernacle Halden Baptist Church, and the Thursday Club.

Halden frikirke

We are a congregation for all generations and gather for worship on Sunday at 11. We have Sunday school, a group for Tweens and a youth group. Morning meeting once a month. Halden Free Church is one of the country's oldest congregations within the Evangelical Lutheran Free Church in Norway.

Metodistkirken i Norge, Tistedal Menighet

We are proud to belong to the Methodist Church. We profess the Christian faith as it is expressed in the historical Christian confessions. We belong to the evangelical part of Christendom, and describe ourselves as moderate and not fundamentalist.
