Advance voting in Halden

Advance votes can be cast from Thursday August 10th until and including Friday September 8th in any municipality in Norway.

Advance voting in Halden is held in Tista Senter, Walkersgate, 4 Monday to Friday between 11:00 am and 6:00 pm. On September 8th the opening hours will be between 11:00 am and 5:00 pm. You can also advance vote at Skofabrikken in the library, Os alle 3, Mondays and Thursdays between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Voting on the election days

In Halden the election will be held om Sunday September 10th and Monday September 11th.

The polling stations will be open:

  • Sunday September 10th, 4 pm to 8 pm
  • Monday September 11th, 10 am to 8 pm

On the election days you must vote in the municipality in which you were registered as resident on June 30th 2023. Its at that time you were a registered resident in Halden, you can vote in any of the seven stations in Halden.

Make sure to bring your identification

You may also want to bring your polling card, "valgkort", but this does not work as identification. It does however make the voting process go smoothly.
